About Shivam Wankhede
Shivam Wankhede is a golden dancer, and is best known as the winner of 2MAD: Maharashtra Asal Dancer. The boy started his career at a very young age with one of the biggest dance reality shows Dance India Dance Little Masters in the year 2012. The show was judged by Farah Khan and Sandeep Saporkar. Manish Paul and Jay Bhanushali were the hosts. This dance was also for the children to show their dancing talent. After this show, Shivam moved on and participated in Dance India Dance, season six in 2017. Paran Devo, Alphonse Chetty, Sachin Sharma, Sanket Gaonkar, Nainika Anasuru, and Piyush Gurbhele were some of the other contestants.
The show was mentored by Mudassar Khan, Marzi Pestorji, and Mini Pradhan. And Mudassar Khan trained Shivam and he was in his team called “Mudassar’s Troupe”. Amrita Khanvikar and Sahil Khattar were also the hosts of the show. He was also highly praised for his Lavani performance. Shivam was born in Jalgaon, Maharashtra, and has always made sure that he spreads the art of dance in his native place as well. And for this, he has taken many workshops and organized various dance camps there. Shivam also participated in a Marathi dance reality show named 2MAD: Maharashtra Asal Dancer on the channel Colors Marathi. The show was a life-changing experience. 12th April 2017 also came as a big success and he won this reality show, gaining immense popularity all over Maharashtra and the country.
He also started with various workshops in the country and had worked with gladiator dance classes for the same. He went to Tonk, Dhulia and Nanddarbar in Rajasthan to take dance workshops. In Nand Darbar, he also trained small children in the form of art. Shivam worked and taught students at Apex Dance Academy in Surat. He was about to teach The Jalgaon Womenia Group. Shivam had performed at various events, festivals and dance shows. He was a part of the Holi celebration program ‘Mohe Rang De’ where he performed and enthralled the atmosphere with his scintillating dance. Even after being associated with Zee for years, he also did a show for Zee Talent in Pachora, which was also a huge success. He is known for Lavani dance form and conducts Lavani workshops at specific intervals. The iconic moment of his life was when he visited his school RR Vidyalaya also as the brand ambassador of Lokmat Bal Vikas Manch. And he said that it was his great dream to perform in his school.
