Goldie fled to Canada a few days after Gurlal’s murder.

Goldy is a gangster based in Canada, who is an associate of Indian gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. He is known for taking responsibility for the murder of a Punjabi singer. Sidhu Musewala.
On 11 October 2020, his cousin Gurlal Brar was shot dead by two unidentified men outside City Emporium Mall, Industrial Area, Phase I, Chandigarh.
Even in 2021, her father Shamsher Singh was given compulsory retirement after Goldie was convicted in a murder case.
On May 29, 2022, after Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala was shot dead by unknown assailants in Mansa district’s Jawaharke village, Goldie had also taken to Facebook to claim responsibility for Musewala’s murder. Musewala was reportedly traveling in a Mahindra SUV with his friend and cousin when two cars started following them. The cars chased him for some time and then the eight assailants inside the cars fired about 30 rounds at Musewala. The assailants also reportedly used three AK-94 rifles for the attack.
In his Facebook post, Goldie had agreed to kill Moosewala with the help of his friends Lawrence Bishnoi and Sachin Bishnoi Dattarawala. In his post, he also discussed the involvement of Musewala in the murder of Akali leader Vicky Middukheda and Goldie’s cousin Gurlal Brar. He wrote that,
