Aishwarya Narkar is a prominent Marathi actress, producer and director. She was born on 10 May 1970 only. She attended Swami Vivekananda High School Dombivli and joined the University of Mumbai for her graduation. She is married to Marathi TV actor Avinash Narkar. She is very famous for her role in ‘Ghar Grihasthi’ (2004), ‘How De Jarasa Ushir’ (2012), and the film ‘Yellow’ (2014).
Her role as “Savitri Garodia”, a mother of four girls, in Ghar Ki Laxmi Betiyaan, aired on Zee TV from September 2006 to November 2009, was widely appreciated. And so much so, an Arabic dubbed version was also premiered on Zee Alwan titled ‘Al Banat Zeenat Al Bayt’, which means- “The girls are the beauty of the house”. The second season of the show was aired on 16 April 2014. She has also acted in the soap opera Maayke Se Bandhi Door, which aired on Star Plus from February 2011 to October 2011.
Since then, she has worked on several Marathi films. From recent films to her notable films are the following (all in the Marathi language): Peela (2014), Arey Awaaz Konacha (2013), Hou De Jarasa Ushir (2013), Champions (2012), Sai Darshan… Ek Anubhav (2013). 2010), Samantar (2009), Arithmetic Anandach (2009), Bandh Premache (2007), Swami Mez Daivat (2007), Soon Girl Sasarachi (2005), Ranragini (2002), Saubhagyakankshini (1974), ‘Lakshmi’, ‘Tighi’, ‘Khatyal Sasu Natal Sun’, ‘Zuluk’, ‘Sawar Re’, which have also been appreciated by critics. She also received the Best Actress Award at the 37th Maharashtra State Marathi Film Festival (2005).
